Starting at 5pm, the plaza will be filled with 40 artists and a variety of food vendors (Rockland’s BBQ, Hops ‘N Shine, A.M. Kettle, Buddin’ Bakery, cupcakes, and fresh lemonade).

Enjoy live jazz by the Yellow Door Concert Series Sextet starting at 6pm, an art exhibition in the Gallery, and a bar provided by Alexandria Celebrates Women.

The opportunity to take part in the “What does Alexandria mean to me?” art project!  Write your answer to this question on one of the 275 stars provided. The stars will be hung for all to see and will become a traveling art exhibit that will be on display at various locations throughout Alexandria through September as part of the 275th Anniversary Celebration.
