OTN Thursday Market Opens Today

Spring is finally here! In addition to cherry trees and daffodils, a seasonal Thursday farmers market is blooming, starting today!

The seasonal Thursday afternoon market joins the year-round Sunday market, both sponsored by the Old Town North Community Partnership (OTNCP).

Beginning today, March 23, the market will be open Thursdays from 3:00 to 7:00 pm at 901 North Royal Street. Today’s vendors are:

• Ana’s Twist

• Mom’s Divine Sweet Potato Pie

• Patty’s Pound Cakes

• TAL Specialty Coffees

• Yellow Dot Shop

• Old Town North Community Market Stand (including tomatoes, Amish baked goods, dairy and organic eggs)

• Buddin Bakery (March and April only)

• Data Diva (March and April)

Additional vendors will be joining both markets in the coming weeks, including Valencia Farm, from Virginia’s Northern Neck, at the Sunday market on April 17th. (The Sunday market takes place from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the same location.) Also added this year is the ability for both the Thursday and Sunday markets to accept SNAP benefits.

A compost collection station is available at the Sunday market only.
