Join us for Old Town North’s Newest Public Art Unveiling November 4!

Join OTNA and the City of Alexandria’s Office of the Arts as we celebrate the installation of 30 artist-designed stormwater covers in Old Town North! The ceremony will take place from noon to 3:00 pm on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Montgomery Park (901 North Royal Street).

The Old Town North Alliance is proud to have spearheaded this initiative. Three incredible local artists - Matt Long, Yoshiko Ratliff, and Dana Ann Scheurer - have created a series of stormwater covers that uniquely portray the vibrant, artistic culture of Old Town North. The city has started to install these stormwater covers throughout Old Town North, and we invite you to help us celebrate the newest exhibit in our Arts Corridor!

Come out and meet the artists and project team, and engage in art activities around Montgomery Park with the Mobile Art Lab. Light refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public! We can’t wait to see you.
