Old Town North Shines in Interviews

March turned out to be a big month to let the world know about the charms of Old Town North. There were two Facebook-live interviews focused on the neighborhood, and the new VisitAlexandria tourism guide came out with a quarter-page ad extolling the Old Town North Arts and Cultural District, as well as a feature article on our culinary gems.

On March 18, Old Town North Alliance President Agnès Artemel was interviewed by Virginia Amos on Z-TV, a monthly show put on by The Zebra Press. The focus was on all the new amenities that have come to Old Town North in the last few years, including some notable restaurants.

This was followed on March 22 by an hour long program on Agenda Alexandria entitled Transformational Change in Old Town North. Austin Flajser from Carr Companies and Agnès Artemel spoke about development and the arts in Old Town North; other speakers included Nate Macek, Chairman of the Planning Commission, Mary Harris, President of the civic association NOTICe, and Christina Mindrup from the Alexandria Economic Development Partnership.

Old Town North has it going on!
