Sunday, June 4th Adoption Day/Pet Appreciation Week at the Old Town North Farmers Market. The Animal Welfare League of Alexandria will be present with adoptable dogs and cats. You can see all available adoptable pets at Montgomery Park, the home of the Old Town North Farmers Market . It is the perfect location to meet your new best friend with a large grass field and an enclosed dog park to play with your new family member - plus leave with fresh vegetables, treats, and home-crafted items from the market. We will update you as new pet adoption agencies sign on. We are delighted to announce that Rural Dog Rescue will be joining us for the Adoption Event.
