The weatherman predicts a gorgeous week with perfect Fall weather. It’s a great time to catch up on two events that were postponed because of inclement weather recently. They are Taste of North Old Town and the NOTICe Tour of North Old Town Developments. It’s possible to take advantage of both!

The Taste of Old Town North in Montgomery Park will happen on Thursday from 4-8pm. Hosted by our friends at the Old Town North Community Partnership, this event is free and open to neighbors of all ages. It features food samples and entertainment. Several Old Town North restaurants are participating. Live music will be provided by two local bands - Sally and the Mander, starting at 5:00 pm and Three Man Soul Machine, starting at 6:00 pm.

Sample a variety of delicious food from local restaurants including Cafe 44, Grateful Kitchen and St. Elmo’s Old Town North. Visitors to the Taste can also shop at the local farmers’ market, try their hand at Art in the Park with KidCreate, watch a karate demonstration from Seichou Karate, and picnic in the park. The event is a creation of the Old Town North Community Partnership and co-sponsored by the Old Town North Alliance and NOTICe. For further information, https://oldtownnorth.org/fall-taste.

NOTICing Our Neighbors: A Walking Tour of OTN Development is also happening on Thursday, September 30th from 5:30-7pm. Take a self guided walking tour of some of OTN's new development sites and have the opportunity to ask the developers some of your questions! Event maps showing meeting locations and providing salient facts about each project will be available at the Old Town North Farmers Market during The Taste of Old Town North event. The event is free, but RSVP's are encouraged. Learn more about this event HERE
