Speaking of Canal Center, dining at its new Jula’s on the Potomac is a special experience. The new space is open, while the former Cafe 44 space has closed for renovations. Here’s what Kayak has to say about Jula’s, “Best known for its spectacular panoramic views, Jula’s on the Potomac is one of the most sought-after dining spots in Metro DC. Offering exquisitely crafted cocktails, an ever-evolving wine list, and an impressive array of alcohol-free options, you can be sure to find something to fit your taste. The menus feature American cuisine classics with an innovative approach to brunch, lunch and dinner. Whether you’re dining for business or pleasure, a meal at Jula’s is sure to make a lasting impression.”
Twice a week, the Old Town North Community Partnership hosts a lively Farmers Market in the Montgomery Park parking lot at 901 North Royal Street. The market is open Sundays from 10 am to 2 pm and Thursdays from 3-7 pm. Offerings include vegetables, baked goods, teas, pet treats, flowers and local honey.
Watch this space for more fun things to do later this month and in August!
