Canal Center Hosts Annual Torpedo Factory Show

This year, the annual Torpedo Factory special exhibition and art sale is being held at the new Canal Centre Gallery, located at 11 Canal Center. According to the Torpedo Factory, “This location is a new hub for cultural and artistic events in Alexandria.”

A wide variety of local artists donated their art. Each piece is on a 10x10 identical wood panel, and each sells for $150. Although the exhibition has been open since March 2, there are still many, many delightful pieces just waiting for you to take them home! All purchased pieces will continue to be displayed until the last day of the exhibition on March 30. Admission is free.

The exhibition and sale are open the following days and times:

• Friday, March 22: 1:00-8:00 pm

• Saturday, March 23: 11:00 am - 8:00 pm

• Sunday, March 24: 11:00 am - 8:00 pm

• Friday, March 29: 1:00-8:00 pm

• Saturday, March 30: 11:00 am - 8:00 pm

March 30 is March 100 Day, when all pieces remaining unsold will be priced at $100. There will be activities for all ages, and purchasers will be able to take their pieces home with them. Admission and activities are free.
